53 year old female underwent short scar facelift with neck muscle tightening and lower blepharoplasty. She wanted to address jowling that began at an early age and looseness of her neck. In the above pictures, she is two months after her procedure. Facelifts are an outpatient procedure performed in our ambulatory surgery center. Incisions are planned carefully and “hidden” in front and behind the ears such that the scars are not obvious. Through these incisions, the skin of the face and neck is lifted away and the underlying muscles are tightened with sutures, which is the strength of the facelift and makes it last longer and look natural.
