Sculpt Your Confidence

For a such a small part of your face, a double chin can have a drastic effect on a person’s appearance, confidence and sense of self. A double chin, also known as submental fullness, can alter your facial contour, making you look much older and heavier than you really are. Before Kybella, there were no injectable treatments for double chins that did not involve a surgical procedure.
Now that Kybella has arrived, Burt & Will is proud to provide one of the most revolutionary cosmetic treatments available: a nonsurgical injectable procedure for submental fullness.

Kybella is an injection, therefore it is well-tolerated and requires no downtime or recovery period. The best part about Kybella is that the results are permanent, making it one of the most powerful non-surgical procedures in the industry. Kybella™ is safe to use for patients over the age of 18. With Kybella, you can finally look younger and rejuvenated with a thinner, more aesthetic profile.

The Science of Kybella

Kybella™ is a solution made up of deoxycholic acid; it’s a natural substance that’s found in the body, and its main purpose is to help dissolve fat. Submental fullness is a result of stubborn deposits of fat under the chin, and with the injection of Kybella™, the fat cells are eliminated gradually yet permanently. Once the fat cells are naturally flushed from the body, they can no longer come back.

Kybella’s Procedure

Kybella’s procedure is relatively quick and performed in the office. After a thorough consultation process and Kybella is determined to be the best treatment, Drs. Burt & Will will start to mark the neck. Once the skin has been adequately numbed with topical cream, Kybellais administered through a fine needle and the treatment lasts only a few minutes. Afterward, the patient can go home and resume any activities they want to—there’s no downtime or recovery. Some patients do report feeling some temporary swelling and numbness under the chin, but it’s temporary and will go away soon enough.

Kybella can be administered in a series of treatments that are scheduled several weeks apart. While the number of Kybella treatments needed for you to get maximum results will depend on your aesthetic goals and your body type, you and your surgeon will work together to find the perfect plan to get the perfect results.
