Laser Genesis Skin Therapy
Laser Genesis skin therapy is ideal for promoting vibrant, healthy looking skin without invasive surgery or extensive downtime. The Laser Genesis delivers concentrated laser light to gently heat the deep layers of the skin, stimulating the regrowth of collagen and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and other skin imperfections. Even after treatment, collagen and the elastin fibers in your skin continue to multiply, for an even greater improvement in your overall complexion. Laser Genesis is ideal for patients with active acne, scarring from previous acne, traumatic scarring, stubborn pigment, rosacea, oily, and aging skin.
After a Laser Genesis session, you can immediately return to your regular, everyday activities. There is no downtime and minimal risk of side effects (the most common being slight redness).
A series of 3 or 5 Laser Genesis treatments is recommended for best and long-lasting results.
Pearl Laser
Pearl laser is a YSGG laser that is used to correct layers of sun damage and changes due to aging. This treatment is perfect for the patient who complains of sunspots, irregular coloring to the skin secondary to sun or pregnancy, or thickness to the skin from chronic tanning. Our patients choose Pearl Laser for facial brightening and toning to the skin. Pearl removes the top layers of the epidermis where most of the sun damage lies and also simultaneously heats the dermis for tightening as well.
Topical numbing cream is used for 30 minutes and then the laser wand is used on the skin and activated according to the necessary energy needed. Once the treatment is completed, the skin is dressed with a special ointment and post-care regimen is taught and provided to the patient.
After the Pearl session, you will feel warmth to the skin and for about 3-5 days afterwards, the outer skin will peel like sunburn, leaving radiant and new skin revealed.
A single treatment or two treatments may be performed to uncover the beauty within.
Pearl Fractional Laser
If your skincare needs are more comprehensive, treatment with the Pearl Fractional Laser might be a better option. The Pearl Laser from Cutera is a fractional laser, meaning it selectively removes columns of tissue while leaving surrounding skin intact. Fractional skin resurfacing requires a shorter healing time than traditional resurfacing, and also stimulates the body to produce new collagen for smoother, tighter skin. This treatment is ideal for deeper wrinkles, deep acne or traumatic scarring, and irregular texture.
During a treatment session, the laser emits small, controlled pulses of light to remove the top layer of damaged skin. In the days following the procedure, new, healthy skin will appear. The heat from the laser also kick-starts the body’s natural regrowth of collagen to improve wrinkles, lines and other deeper imperfections.
You will likely see an improvement in your skin’s appearance after one treatment, but we suggest a series of two treatments for best results. The Pearl Fractional laser can be performed with the Pearl Laser to create a treatment called Pearl Fusion for overall deep skin rejuvenation and resurfacing.
